Looking for an artistic opportunity to learn about creating abstract art, and expressing yourself through colours, textures, and gestures? Same here.

My two-evening art class "Abstract Painting With Pastels" is coming up on Monday, March 3rd and Tuesday March 4th. All you need to bring is ZERO artistic experience, and be sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting messy. I really want you to let loose. This is a no-threat zone, where you can finally release the tensions of the day and challenge yourself with taking artistic risks- risks that feel GOOD, with my guidance.
There's so much we'll cover together- we're going over various wet and dry methods, exploring new ways of creating interesting and expressive marks, depth, and forms... Pastels are a portable, expansive, and affordable medium- on paper and canvas.
Not only are we going to be learning application techniques, but also learning how to see, think, and apply your perceptions like an artist; Where do abstract artists get their ideas from? What can be used as inspiration? How do I paint my "feelings"? I've made some marks on my canvas, but how do I balance it out as a composition?
