Ale & Abstract! A Brewery Paint Night Aug 19th

Get your tickets and mark your calendars, because I'm hosting an evening of painting and craft beer (and cider) on August 19th, 2019 at Red Bird Brewing!

I wonder if this is class is for you? It depends...

Have you never painted? Have you painted a little? Maybe you've painted a lot. Or have you always wanted to try your hand at abstract painting? Do you even know if you can paint abstract? (Spoiler: yes you can, and you're gonna love it.) But hey, let's find out together.

I love encouraging people to get creative, let go, and try new things they didn't realise they could do that they've secretly wanted to try. Why? Because I have always had people who encouraged me throughout my whole life, and it has made all the difference. I mean, look at me now, I'm guiding others to paint! See? Encouragement and experimenting works.

We hear time and time again—and some of us even preach (but do we live it?)— that life is all about the journey, not the destination. In abstract and intuitive painting, the life lesson is no different; it's important to try new things if you want to learn and feel new things. Jump in the deep end with me and have a swim! Whether you want to be shown how to do exactly what I'm demonstrating, or veer off the path and try something different, come and experiment, be guided, and enjoy your artistic interest while sipping on some of the city's very best craft beer. (I recommend the IPA or Radler.)

Your $65 ticket includes:

  • A 2-hour art lesson and all art supplies for your 16" x 20" masterpiece to take home

  • 2 drink tickets

  • Light snack

  • Good music and good vibes (obviously)

Note:

* Best to arrive 10-15 minutes early to choose your seat and get settled.

* Be sure to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting acrylic paint on. It's kind of washable, but don't count on it. (Wearing an old men's button-up shirt like a smock is a bonus, and honestly, is one of my daily fashion staples.)

*Plan a safe ride home. Must be age 19 or older, please bring two pieces of valid ID.

Classes with too few attendees are subject to cancellation.

Feel free to email me any questions to angiemarchinkow@gmail.com.

Can't wait to see you there, you fun and adventurous secret artists! Wow am I excited.
