There are so many reasons to take part in creative expression. It activates parts of your brain that you're probably wishing were lit up like new years eve fireworks, all the time.
Making art reduces stress (SIGN ME UP.) It gives us an opportunity to reflect, problem solve, encourage group collaboration, and focus.
It helps you to practice examining and expressing your emotions. Step outside of them. Acknowledge them. Enjoy them.
If you have artistic, explorative, tourist-in-your-own-town new year's resolutions for this decade, now is your chance to jump into the strange and wonderful world of messy Bob Ross-ing. Happy little abstract trees.
If you're worried about trying this for the first time, have no fear- I'll be guiding you all the way through... unless of course, you're feeling ballsy and adventurous enough to veer off the beaten path. In fact, I'd love to see what you come up with. This is art that you get to put on YOUR wall, and I'm just here to cheer you on and hand you the paintbrush. I'll be your art enabler.
